Hours

The cuts

Fades and lineups, with the minutes

How long each one takes, and how soon most people come back.

  • 45–60 min

    Skin fade

Clippers down to the skin at the bottom, blended up through the sides and back. Cut on coils, waves, curls or straight hair.

    • Back in 2 to 3 weeks

  • 40 min

    Taper fade

Shorter at the neckline and around the ears, with length kept above. The easy first fade, and one that wears well under a hard hat.

    • Back in 3 to 4 weeks

  • 45 min

    Drop fade

The fade line curves down behind the ear instead of running straight around. It sits well on waves and coils.

    • Back in 2 to 3 weeks

  • 20 min

    Lineup and shape-up

A crisp edge along the forehead, temples and neckline, with the beard line if you wear one. Quick, and a good one between fades.

    • Back in 1 to 2 weeks

  • 30 min

    Waves and texture upkeep

A cut that keeps a wave pattern or coils even: clippers with the grain, a clean edge, and a word on how to care for it between visits.

    • Back in 2 weeks

  • 20–30 min

    Beard shaping

Cheek line, neckline and shape with trimmers, then a razor edge. Add it to a cut or book it alone.

    • Back in 2 to 3 weeks

Before you come in

Questions we hear at the door

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in during open hours and sign the board by the door. Or book a barber by name and be seen at your time.

How does the line work?

Clients are taken in the order they sign the board, and a booked client is seen at the booked time. Waits vary; the board shows who is next.

How long does a fade take?

A skin or taper fade runs 40 to 60 minutes. A lineup alone is about 20. Every service on the menu shows its minutes.

Can you cut my hair?

Yes. We cut coils, waves, curls, twists and straight hair, and every barber here does fades.

How often should I come back?

Most fades hold their shape for two to three weeks, a taper every three to four. Your barber will tell you what yours needs.

Can I book a certain barber?

Yes. Each barber has a Book button on the barbers page, and booking holds your time with no deposit.
